Todd Carlson

Co-Founder & Partner

Todd is a Co-Founder & Partner of Carbin Capital. He is responsible for originating new opportunities, structuring and executing transactions and working alongside our partners.

Prior to co-founding Carbin Capital, Todd worked in the investment banking division at J.P. Morgan and Truist Securities, where he advised consumer, retail and industrial companies and private equity firms on a variety of advisory and financing transactions. Over the course of his career, Todd has focused primarily on advising middle market and emerging growth companies on M&A transactions. He began his career at Carter’s, where he developed a deep appreciation for all the work involved in building an industry-leading brand and fighting every day to maintain that market position.

Todd received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia, where he was a member of the 2001 NCAA champion tennis team, and an M.B.A. from Emory University.
